Burgess Hill Town FC are pleased to announce an exciting restructure of the women’s and girls section at the Club with immediate effect.

Current women’s team manager Tom Clingo, who joined the Hillians in the summer and settled in brilliantly at the HomeCall Carpets Community Stadium, will now become our new Head of Women’s football and responsible for the Girls Under 18s and the girls pathway – in addition to being the Women’s manager.

The hardworking Julie Bryan will continue in her role as the Womens / Girls Under 18s Secretary whilst Lynne Clingo will become the Womens / Girls Under 18s Fixtures Secretary.

Both Julie and Lynne will work closely with Ben Slade, the head of Girls football, to develop the pathway into the Under 18s Girls team.

These strategic appointments reflect the Hillians dedication to excellence, innovation, and the creation of pathways for players at all levels in the girls and womens section and align with our long-term vision and position our club for sustained success and development at every level.

Tom Clingo said “I am really excited about the direction of the club and to be stepping into this role.

Since I joined the club last summer, myself and our coaching team have felt that the potential to grow something really special here is very tangible and the enthusiasm for the women’s game has been incredible.

I am massively looking forward to working closely with the fantastic staff and players in the Under-18s and the youth section beyond to support the growth of the women’s section and the game in our local community.”
