Manager Matt Longhurst continues to strengthen his squad with the signing of former Crawley Town and Southend United midfield maestro Henry Burnett on loan for the remainder of the season from Isthmian Premier side Billericay Town.
The gaffer had this to say on the arrival of Henry “he is someone I’ve known a long time and a player that I know can come in and have an impact on the rest of the season. He’s an attacking player who’s pedigree and ability is above the level we are currently at and I’m delighted to bring such a quality player in to aid our final push for these ten games, starting Saturday against one of the title favourites Whitehawk”
We are also delighted to announce the signing of Tunji Obembe from National League Bromley. The first year professional midfielder joins on loan until the end of the season. Longhurst commented “This is another great addition the squad, we don’t have many options in midfield and with Tunji he adds something different to what we currently have. He’s had previous experience in our league with VCD Athletic and will add competition to the squad.
Welcome Henry and Tunji!
