Squad Update

Ian Chapman announced today that he is still looking to strengthen his squad for the last quarter of the season. He also said that Hillian’s  goalkeeper, Josh James, can no longer commit to playing at this level.

Ian said “Josh was a big part of our Ryman South winning team and did well in our first season in the Premier Division, last year. Unfortunately, he has found it difficult this season to balance football and other commitments. He wants to continue playing but at a level more suitable for him at present.”

Dan Pearse has decided to leave the club and BHTFC wishes both of them all the best for the future.

Ian was pleased to officially announce the recent signing of Lucas Rodriguez. Ian added “Lucas is dual signed from Whitehawk FC and we hope to have him with us for the rest of the season to gain experience at this level. Joe has also returned on a dual signing basis and will play when he can for us”.

Both were in the starting lineup in last night’s win against Harrow Borough FC which saw the team skippered by ex-Youth team captain Will Miles. Ian commented in his post match interview that Will has been in and around the 1st team for most his time at the club and as the characteristics needed to be a good leader.
