Jay Lovett’s Hillians will be keen to carry on recent momentum in the Isthmian League as we look to make it 6 unbeaten when we travel to the Oaks.
It’s straight back into the bread and butter of the league after our weekend trip to Hastings saw us commendably exit the FA Trophy. A Dan Perry brace, his 8th&9th of the season wasn’t quite enough as Gary Elphicks clarets got over the line at the Pilot Field.
Our hosts from the park of Greatness almost certainly have a false league position currently, a terrific FA Cup run means the Oaks are playing catch up on everyone else at the moment. They currently sit a point and a place behind us in the table but a home win would mean the two sides would swap places, putting a little more impetus on this game perhaps. The hosts are coming off the back of a superb away win at Ramsgate at the weekend, defeating the Rams 4-2.
Safe travels to all Hill connections making the trip on Wednesday night, your support is as ever, very much appreciated.
