There is only positive vibes rolling around Mid Sussex at the moment as Burgess Hill are coming off the back of doing their 4th league double of the season, this time over play off chasing Cray Valley Paper Mills.

The Easter Saturday matchup with the Millers ended in a 1-0 success for Jay Lovetts men courtesy of an Own Goal from Nathaniel Blanks. The weekend fixtures saw us gain on 6th placed Ramsgate, moving just a point behind the Rams who have lost 6 straight games and we also moved clear of the teams chasing us for 7th, opening up a 5 point gap on Corinthian in 8th. Our previous meeting with Chichester saw us fall to a 2-1 defeat at Oaklands Park, with super Pat Harding grabbing our consolation strike.

Chichester City have had a solid season this year but have fallen away from play offs contention in recent weeks, so the only thing at stake in this one is West Sussex bragging rights. City currently sit 11th in the league with 48 points from 36 matches.

Jo and Katie’s BOTN Tea Hut will be open throughout the afternoon, be sure to give them a visit!

Saturday’s match is sponsored by Mark Craigs and Richard Copeland.

Please arrive at the More Than Tyres Stadium early to avoid queuing in the lead up to kick off!

We look forward to welcoming you all to paradise for the final time this season this Bank Holiday Monday!
