Burgess Hill Town FC’s pre-season starts this Saturday with joint managers Gary Mansell and Jay Lovett taking their new look side for their first run out against Montpelier Villa.

The game is a 12pm kick off and is being played at Sussex Uni.

Train

Falmer train station is directly opposite the University campus. Pedestrian access is through a subway under the A27, follow signs for the University of Sussex (the University of Brighton has a campus at Falmer too). Falmer is on the train line between Brighton and Lewes and is a short journey from both. Visitors travelling via London and the west-coast should take a train to Brighton and change in the city for Falmer. The journey time from London to Brighton is just under an hour. You can also change at Lewes for Falmer, if you are coming from the east.

Bus

The 23, 25, 28 and 29 buses run between the centre of Brighton and the University, bringing you directly to campus. You can catch a bus from the Old Steine in Brighton; the 25 also runs from Churchill Square. The 28 and 29 go from the Old Steine and stop right outside the University campus on their way to Lewes and beyond. Travel time is about 20-30 minutes.

Car

If travelling to Falmer Sports Complex by car, access is via Pavilion Road and the postcode is BN1 9PL.

There is limited car parking near the pitch and building complex. Alternatively you can park in the main car park on left as you enter the uni complex. You need to park up bye the US stop 200 yds from the entrance and the side round up to the pitch is 75 yds on from the bus stop.

It is then a 200yd walk upto the complex. It is a 10 min walk from the train station on the opposite side of the station.

Refreshments

There is refreshments but in the main building complex which is a minute walk from the pitch. Also for friendly we use the Swan pub opposite the Amex.
