On a cold but dry Thursday evening, the return Home League fixture against bottom of Table Club Horsham YMCA was played. However, this time regular U18 BHTFC players – Noah Hoffman, Joe Overy and Harry Lawson – were ‘rested’, due to their expected First Team duties less than two days later.  This enabled some additional BHTFC 16 year olds to given a run out for the U18s.

The Class of the BHTFC Team shone through, and was initially rewarded breathlessly with goals in the 3rd, 15th, 22nd, 26th, 31st and 33rd  minutes. –   6-0 UP with barely one-third of the game gone !  The game continued to be ‘one-way traffic’ until Half Time, but with no addition to the score line.

After the break, the intensity naturally lessened, and the visitors started putting together some attacks of their own.  The Hillians U18 exciting brand of football continued, including the introduction of the Substitutes, but was rewarded only the once with one more goal shortly after the hour mark.
