Indeed, one only had to look at the professional warm up routines that to note that Hill were ready for action. After five mins Hill had made several good tackles in mid field which got them on the front foot. With the visitors in sixes and seven’s a quick one two sent Kirk in on goal to smash home the opener. After ten minutes Kirk let fly from 25 yards the ball sailing into the top corner. Football became easy as Alice Horton pulls strings in mid field. Seagals did threaten to on several occasions, but the Hill keeper Evie Herridge dealt with all situations with diligence and confidence. It would have been a huge source of pride for her to secure a pleasing clean sheet.
Late in the 1st half the game was effectively won when Horton swung in an inviting corner. Mid field dynamo Rachel Walker met the ball with the perfect volley to make it three. Kirk then had time to drill in her hat trick in off the far post.
