Burgess Hill Town FC had a fantastic day at the weekend when we welcomed 70 sponsors and partners of the Hillians to enjoy some hospitality and watch a superb 3-0 win over Sheppey United in a match sponsored by Frontline Automation.
They were invited to the HomeCall Carpets Community Stadium where they were welcomed with a drink before enjoying a sit down meal of pie and mash, whilst Manager Gary Mansell and owners David Corney and Vince Alfieri spoke to the guests.
U18’s manager Berty OIiva and women’s boss Tom Clingo were chatting to many of our guests about the Club and talking the future and ethics of the Hillians as did club officials Dave Bradbury, Tim Spencer, John Buck and Peter Miles.
Joint owner David Corney said ““It the was the first time we have arranged a sponsors and partners event, but I don’t think it could have gone any better. We got some great feedback on the welcome they received, the fantastic pie and mash lunch, and generally being part of a day which had such a good buzz around the club. The team also chose a good moment to put in a season’s best performance – which helped!. It was a great way for us to give thanks to all of the companies that provide the help and funds to keep this club going. It is vital that we look after these companies and any others who get involved with the club and it is our plan is to make this an annual event.”
We are glad everyone enjoyed their day with us and got to see a thrilling 3-0 win and we thank them all for their continued support of Burgess Hill Town FC.
