Alex Malins has become the sixth new addition to the Hillians this summer as he joins from Isthmian Premier side Whitehawk FC.

The 29 year old central defender joined the Hawks midway through last season and made 11 appearances after beginning the season with Horsham.

Malins, 29, is a left sided central defender, who can also play left back or in midfield. He began his career as a professional at Crawley Town before two spells at Lewes where in total he has made over 100 appearances. In 2015/16 he was voted Manager’s Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year for the Rooks. He has also played Bognor Regis Town, Peacehaven and Horsham YMCA.
