Congratulations to our 1st year U18’s who won the SCFL Central League on Sunday morning after winning away at Mile Oak 2-1.

Gary Mansell said “What a journey!!! It was quite fitting that the scene for our potential league winning fixture was back at Mike Oak; the home of where it all began for a lot of our group.

Starting at Mile Oak Wanderers as 5/6 year olds it was hard to to recognise what a journey we would take. Lots of successful years brought us to Burgess Hill as U14s and we’ve never looked back.

This football club has offered us the platform to excell and the boys have grabbed the opportunity.

Today league title is just a small part in the huge success we’ve experienced this year. We look forward to the remaining challenges we face”.
