Dan is pictured being presented with his award by Chairman Vince Alfieri and Secretary Tim Spencer.

On Bank Holiday Monday a presentation was made to Dan Perry who recently made his 150th appearance for Burgess Hill Town FC.

He’s the latest player to reach an appearance milestone this season in a list that includes Martyn Box and Reggie Ward being presented with tankards for reaching 100 appearances.

We caught up with Dan following the presentation of the award and he said “It’s a nice accolade to look back on especially coming through the youth system here at Burgess Hill Town FC. Hopefully there are many more appearances and goals to come.”

After Monday’s game Dan currently sits on 155 appearances and has hit 67 goals. He was an Isthmian South title winner with the Hillians in the 2014/15 season having come through the successful youth side. He of course scored the only goal as the Hillians had a famous FA Trophy win over Aldershot Town and also netted in a famous giant killing FA Cup win over Sutton United also during that title winning season. Last season the forward was the Hillians and the League’s top goalscorer.

On Monday he came off injured in the game against Three Bridges and gave the following update “my ankle will be assessed in the coming days but a lot of ice is in use at the moment.”

From everyone at BHTFC well done Dan on reaching the milestone and we look forward to many more in the future.
