The U18s played 2nd placed Lewes on Thursday 21st March at home and finished with a 3-0 win.

We started the game well and Austin Potter scored in the 1st minute after latching onto an under hit pass back to their goalkeeper to put the Hillians 1-0 up.

They continued to play well moving the ball quickly and getting into the final third well but didn’t take their chances.

Lewes were denied an equaliser when their player fouled our keeper.

In the 33rd minute Lewes were reduced to 10 men when one of their players kicked out at one of our players.

The Hillians then took control of the game and extended their lead in the 38th minute. A free kick from Fletcher Fane struck the wall and Joe Overy struck the rebound into the top corner.

Lewes started well in the second half but the Young Hillians soaked up the pressure and started to dominate possession.

Austin Potter scored his second and the Hillians 3rd of the game with a backheel on the 58th minute.

Lewes were denied a consolation goal when their player was adjudged to be offside in the area.

From there the Hillians dominated the game and ran out comfortable 3-0 winners. A good performance and deserved win!
