The Burgess Hill Town Women first team played their SWGFL Quarter final Challenge Cup at home against Littlehampton.

After a lengthy delay the game finally got going with Burgess Hill taking a healthy 3-1 lead. Littlehampton grew into the game taking the lead late on however after 90 minutes the teams couldn’t be separated at 4-4.

Extra time Burgess Hill turned on the magic and dominated the following 30 minutes of football to run away as 8-5 winners. Jazz bagged 7 goals in a truly inspirational performance.

All 16 players left absolutely everything on the pitch today. The coaches Roger & Jason could not be prouder of the this group for their hard work, determination and perseverance week in week out. Their loyalty to the club has been unquestionable.

We will face either Newhaven or Shoreham at home in the semi final on the 3rd March.
