Saturday’s win over East Grinstead saw Reggie Ward make his 100th appearance for Burgess Hill Town FC. The popular 21 year old defender joins Darren Budd, Dan Perry and Martyn Box who have made over 100 appearances for the Hillians.

Catching up this week with Reggie he said “Reaching 100 appearances for Burgess Hill Town stands as a significant milestone in my football journey. The unwavering support from both the fans and coaching staff, who entrusted me from a young age, has been pivotal. I’m grateful to my parents for their steadfast encouragement throughout my entire career, taking me to every game until I could stand on my own. Their continued presence, cheering me on at every home and away match, makes me incredibly fortunate to have such dedicated and supportive parents”.

We asked him about his favorite moments in Hillians colours and he replied “my standout moment in a Burgess Hill shirt undoubtedly revolves around scoring one of my best goals in the FA Cup. Yet, the pinnacle of memorable matches unfolds during our intense clash away against Hastings. Facing a team that dominated most of their games that year, securing a 3-2 victory in front of a crowd of 1,500 was incredible.”

Congratulations to Reggie and here is hoping for many more appearances for Burgess Hill Town Football Club.
