Penalties were all that separated Worthing U18’s and Burgess Hill Town U18’s as the Rebels progressed in the Isthmian Youth League Cup to the semi final.

The Hillians fought hard and pushed the strong hosts all the way but with the game goalless after 90 minutes the game went straight to spot kicks where the hosts went through winning 5-4 on penalties.

Well done to the Hillians players and coaches on doing the Club proud on another good cup run and thank you to the supporters who made the trip.

The Under 18’s are next in action when they travel to Eastbourne Borough on Monday 22nd. We are next at home on Tuesday 6th February when we host Bognor Regis Town.
