This Saturday (11th) the Hillians return to action at the HomeCall Carpets Community Stadium as we entertain Chichester City in the league – kicking off at 3pm.
Dean Cox this week bolstered his squad with the signing of goalkeeper Luke Glover (pictured below) from Whitehawk.
In more team news Cox gave an update on in a trio of players currently sidelined. Left back Martyn Box has picked up a potential long-term injury. Cox said “Unfortunately he’s picked up a shoulder injury which could be a serious one – we’re not sure just yet. It could be a few weeks but until we get the diagnosis I won’t know and it’s something that we may look to bring someone in for.”
Forwards Reece Hallard and Kieron Pamment should be back in training next week. Hallard has been out with a glute injury, while Pamment has had a tight groin.
Saturday is Remembrance Day, 11th November. Please join us before kick off for a moment of reflection as we remember pay our deepest respect to all those that sacrificed so much during and after all of the major world wars that have occurred throughout history. We are delighted that the Burgess Hill branch of the Royal British Legion will be joining us and participating in the occasion.
Finally don’t forget to pick up your copy of a packed Matchday programme. The gaffer Dean Cox gives us his latest thoughts and we also catch up with Chairman Vince Alfieri on the latest goings on. The big interview is with Marcel Powell and we also catch up with club volunteer Jack Naldrett too. There’s a profile of summer signing Finn Daniels-Yeoman and we have the latest Isthmian news and stats whilst also looking at the Under 18’s and Juniors sections. There is of course a new edition of Tim Teasers, a look at our visitors as well as the usual Club stats too!
