Burgess Hill Town FC are pleased to announce that Joe Overy has been selected to represent England Colleges Football Association in their upcoming fixtures.

Joe, who is a student on the Russell Martin Academy – Varndean College education programme was selected through the College on Monday.

He has been in fine form for the Hillians Under 18’s this season playing a big role in the excellent FA Youth Cup run and has been rewarded with his fine displays with call ups to the first XI where he has continued to impress.

First team assistant manager and under 18’s manager Gary Mansell said “congratulations to Joe on earning himself an amazing opportunity. We are naturally extremely proud to be a part of his development but credit has to go to Joe and how he’s applied himself to earn his place. We wish him all the best and look forward to his continued progress here at the Home Call Carpets Community Stadium”
