Burgess Hill Town progressed to the 1st round proper of the FA Youth with superb 5-3 victory over Tonbridge Angels.

The Hillians were 2-0 up at half time as in form Alex Brewer got the Hill into the lead after 17 minutes and the superb Harry Lawson doubled the lead 4 minutes before half time slotting home.

The game turned on its head though as the Angels hit three goals in the opening 15 minutes of the second half to lead 3-2.

Brewer responded for the Hill equalising on 63 minutes and with 9 minutes remaining Austin Potter gave the lead back to the Hill. Two minutes before the end Brewer completed a deserved hat-trick with a header.

Hillians now await Fridays draw to see who we will face.
