The Hillians carried on recent form in the Isthmian League with a hard fought 1-1 draw away at Sevenoaks Town on Wednesday night, extending the unbeaten run to 6 in the league.
Martyn Box popped up with his 4th goal of the 2022/23 campaign already, his most prolific season of his short career to date, but the Hill would of been disappointed to lose a grip of the lead less than a minute after getting it on Wednesday evening. An away midweek point is always a positive thing and it was a performance which all at the club were impressed with and now our focus switches into backing this up when we welcome the Rams at the weekend.
Our visitors from Thanet have had an unsurprisingly strong start to the season, currently sitting in 3rd place but only goal difference keeps them from sitting top of the shop. The Rams have accumulated 23 points from their opening 11 games so far this season. Last weekend they welcomed Sevenoaks but ended up on the losing side as the Oaks came and conquered 4-2, so they will be a team looking to bounce back.
Jo and Katie’s BOTN Tea Hut will be open throughout the afternoon, be sure to give them a visit!
The Hillians Bar will be showing Everton vs Leicester live at 5:30pm.
Please arrive at the More Than Tyres Stadium early to avoid queuing in the lead up to kick off!
We look forward to welcoming you to Paradise on Saturday.
