The Hillians cup exploits will continue in midweek as we make our first voyage into the Isthmian League Velocity Trophy when we travel to Oaklands Park for the second time this season.

It feels like all the Hillians do is play cup matches at the moment! Tuesday evening presents a good opportunity to carry on the momentum from Sittingbourne and perhaps give Jay Lovett a chance to give a run out to some first team players in need of minutes and some exciting Hillians U18s.

As previously mentioned, in the Hills last outing we traveled to Sittingbourne in the FA Trophy and progressed on penalties after drawing 1-1 in normal time with Dan Perry grabbing our goal.

Our fellow West Sussex hosts didn’t play at the weekend due to already being out of the Trophy so the last time they played was last Tuesday when they drew 1-1 away at Littlehampton Town.

The winner of Tuesdays 1st Round match will host Haywards Heath in the 2nd Round.
