The Hillians were on the wrong end of a controversial decision last weekend and they will be using that to try and bounce back again the Oystermen this weekend.

Jay Lovett’s men fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat at Lancing last weekend in a really close, hard fought battle with the Lancers prevailing through an 85th minute penalty. That result saw us stay in 7th spot, 8 points off the play-off places with 8 games to go. Our previous meeting with Whitstable this season saw us record a 1-0 win thanks to an early Lewis Taylor penalty on the Kent coast.

The team from the Kent coast currently prop up the Isthmian South East table with 22 points from 29 matches. The Hillians will not be taking our visitors for granted you can be certain of that, we have already fallen foul twice to then 20th placed side Phoenix Sports so everyone in green and black will be determined to put in a professional performance and not let the league table determine how we play.
