Consistency will be the aim when we travel to East Grinstead after a frustrating goalless draw with Whitstable Town last weekend. I’m sure Jay Lovett was delighted with the teams 12th Isthmian league clean sheet and at the other end, the Hillians are creating chances but taking them is proving to be an achilles heel which we will be striving to put right tomorrow.
The Hillians have been sitting in 7th place for a number of weeks now but teams below them are making the table very tight, with only a few points separating 7th and 11th. Our previous fixture with the Wasps earlier in the season saw the Hill pick up a narrow 1-0 victory with Michael Campbell grabbing the solitary goal.
Grinstead have had an up and down season, with a big unbeaten streak being followed up by a current dip in form in which they hope will change tomorrow. They reside in 17th place with 29 points from 31 matches and are fighting tooth and nail for every precious point, a will to win in which the Hillians will have to match.
There is a fans minibus which is full to bursting heading to East Grinstead tomorrow, a very safe journey to all onboard and the rest of the travelling Hillians, in which they’ll be plenty. Your support, as ever, is massively appreciated!
