After the rain stopped us finishing off 2021, we hope it lets us start this year as Cray Valley PM are in town for a taste Bank Holiday Monday football.
Jay Lovett’s men will be fresh and ready to go. The Hillians gaffer had to miss our last game against Haywards Heath Town but he will be back in the dugout for tomorrow’s encounter. The last match was overseen by Assistant Manager Matt Bubb in a game which saw the Hillians pick up a point. Results yesterday saw the Hill drop down to 11th but we do have a game in hand on teams around us.
Our visitors from Eltham started the campaign like a house on fire but have stuttered in recent games. They fell to a 3-0 home defeat by VCD Athletic yesterday so they will be a team scorned and eager to get back to winning ways. They sit 3rd in the table with 39 points from 20 matches. It’s always a tough battle against the Millers and tomorrow will be no different.
Jo and Katie’s BOTN Tea Hut will be open throughout the afternoon, be sure to give them a visit!
Tomorrow’s match is sponsored by local butchers K.J Thorne.
The Hillians Bar will be open showing the Manchester United vs Wolves fixture, live at 5:30pm, on the big screen after our game.
We look forward to welcoming you home tomorrow for the first time in 2022!
