Jay Lovett’s men will be hoping our recent purple patch can continue when the troops make the trip to Sittingbourne for our first encounter of the season with the Brickies.
Our previous outing against top of the table Hastings United on Saturday afternoon saw the Hillians produce a very impressive performance to pick up a 3-2 away victory – with a brace from Tom Chalaye and a first for the club for Martyn Box. That result lifted us into 9th place and only 2 points behind 8th placed Sittingbourne, with a game or 2 in hand on some teams above us.
Our Kent hosts got back to winning ways on Saturday, beating Hythe Town 2-1 on home soil. As previously mentioned, they sit 8th place in the league with 37 points from 23 matches.
A very safe journey to all those making the trip to Kent on a Tuesday night. Your support, as ever, is greatly appreciated.
