As you may be aware the Government, FA and the Isthmian League have revised their guidance on allowing limited spectators at Non-League level. The final guidance was only received on Thursday 20th August; allowing the return of limited spectators from Saturday 22nd August in a phased capacity.
The pre-conditions for allowing spectators into the ground require a risk assessment to be undertaken and measures put in place to make the ground COVID-19 safe to protect players, staff, volunteers, and spectators.
Our COVID-19 Risk Assessment is available to view here.
For Saturday’s friendly against Cray Wanderers, a maximum of 200 supporters will be allowed into the ground. Once capacity is reached there will be no further admission.
The Hillians Bar will be open but has limited capacity – with 20 seated customers only. No standing customers will be permitted in the bar. Again, once capacity has been reached, all customers will need to leave the bar area after being served. The current restrictions will naturally result in longer queues and waiting times. The Back of the Net Tea Hut will be open as normal throughout the afternoon – accepting both cash and card payments.
Please do not come to the ground if you have any COVID-19 symptoms. All supporters attending will be required to give their name, email, and contact number, either via the QR codes (we will be trialling the EvePASS app) or manually, before being allowed to enter the ground. Anybody who fails to provide contact details will be refused entry.
Admission prices for the afternoon are as follows:
Adults – £5
Concessions – £3
U18’s – £1
Both cash and card (inc. contactless) payments will be accepted. We recommend using card payment, however, if you want to pay with cash, please have the correct money – in order to limit handling and reduce wait times. The turnstile will be open from 1:45pm.
Normal social distancing rules should be observed whilst in the ground. Supporters should not stand in groups of more than six people from different households and maintain their distance throughout the day. Stewards will be in attendance to monitor that these rules are being adhered to – please treat them with respect.
We plan to use this game and our home game on Saturday 5th September, against Corinthian-Casuals, as level one trial events prior to our FA Cup game on Saturday 12th September – testing our COVID-19 procedures. We will publish new guidelines for supporters prior to this match.
We appreciate your patience and understanding at this difficult time. We will update our position when we receive further guidance from the FA/League or we need to update our position based on lessons learned from these trial events.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday afternoon.
