2-3

It was a first half to forget for the Hillians, as goals from Frankie Sawyer, Dan Parkinson and an absolute wonder-strike from Kyle De-Silva gave the visitors a three goal lead at the break.

The Hillians came out firing in the second half and hit back immediately through Tom Cadman – who slotted past the onrushing Cloke. The game grew increasingly one-sided, before Warren Mfula made it 2-3, in the 70th minute, with a deflected header. The home side huffed and puffed and almost found that illusive equaliser, but Mfula just couldn’t sort his feet out with only Cloke to beat. Seconds later, Erivaldo Felix also passed up a golden opportunity right at the death. However, the Oaks managed to hold out to take home all three points.

Another afternoon to forget for the Hillians.

A massive thank you to all of you supporters for your efforts this afternoon. The results aren’t anywhere near good enough at the moment, but your support week in week out has been excellent.

We move onto Whyteleafe on Tuesday evening.
