This Saturday, sees the Hillians make the trip to Hampton & Richmond Borough, as we look to progress into the Third Round Qualifying of the Emirates FA Cup.

Ian Chapman’s men will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to four games, having picked up victories over Folkestone Invicta & Faversham Town in the process.

The Beveree Stadium is a ground we haven’t visited since 2014/15, where we picked up a point – in a 1-1 draw.┬áThat season saw the Beavers promoted into the National League South, where they’ve continued to impress. Having finished last season in 4th, and currently sitting 3rd after 10 games, Gary McCann’s side will certainly be favourites heading into the fixture.

However, the “underdog” is a tag the Hillians have enjoyed over previous seasons, with victories over: Sutton United, Aldershot & Wealdstone, in cup competitions.

Safe journey to all you Hillians making the trip to, hopefully, catch a glimpse of FA Cup magic.
