We are delighted to confirm our thirteenth retained face ahead of 2025/2026 is fans favourite, Chris Whelpdale.

Whelp joined the Hill during last season and instantly made himself a hit with the Hillians faithful and was instrumental in getting us back to step 3.

Chris made 31 appearances and was virtually an ever present since signing and scored 6 times and provided 8 assists in his debut season at Leylands Park. His vast experience he brings will be vital to our Premier return.

Joining the club from Lewes in the Premier, Chris is best known in his career for playing for Peterborough Utd, Gillingham, Stevenage and AFC Wimbledon, before moving onto Chelmsford City and Eastbourne in the National League South.

More returning Hillians and new faces will be announced in due course.
