Hillians Travel To Familiar Opposition

Tonight, Ian Chapman’s side travel up to Surrey, to face Merstham FC, in the Bostik Premier League – 7:45 kick off.

Over the years, we have had some brilliant encounters against the Moatsiders, including: our 4-3 away victory during our promotion winning season, last season’s thrilling 2-2 draw away from home, and probably the best memory, Sam Fisk’s last gasp header at the Green Elephants Stadium last season – to retain our Bostik Premier League status.

The Hillians come into this fixture on the back of a superb 2-1 victory away at Lowestoft Town on Saturday, courtesy of goals from Lucas Rodrigues & Sam Fisk, and will be looking to build on this brilliant away display.

The Moatsiders come into this fixture on the back of a 4-0 defeat to local rivals, Dorking Wanderers, and Hayden Bird’s side will be looking to regain the form, which has seen his side pick up 51 points from their 39 games so far.

Safe travels to all you Hillians making the trip this evening, your support on Saturday was fantastic, let’s be in full voice again tonight, and get behind the boys!
