After late heroics at Harlow on Saturday, the Hillians travelled to Enfield Town, in search of three points. It was a nightmare start for the Hillians, as Taofiq Olomowewe’s header found the back of the net. The lead was doubled on 12 minutes, as a devastating counter attack from Enfield saw Ryan Blake slot the ball past the outcoming James Shaw. The Hillians responded well, with Conor Tighe looking to add to his already impressive goal tally. However it was Enfield who added a third just before the break, with Blake getting his second. The second half started brightly for the Hillians, and a goal came on 56 minutes as Jack Brivio smashed home from close range. An onslaught ensued, as chance after chance went begging. Hafeez Sanusi opened his account for the Hillians on 90 minutes with a neat header, but it was too little too late. A valiant effort, but Enfield’s demanding first half display earned them all 3 points. The Hillians face another away trip this weekend, at in-form Margate.
