Hard Fought Draw With The K’s

Burgess Hill Town picked up a well-earned point away to Kingstonian with a 0-0 draw on Monday night.

The game was especially hard fought with the Hillians losing four players to injury. Max Huxter was rested as a precautionary measure due to an ongoing thigh injury. Tony Garrod picked suspected calf strain and Matt Nezval picked up a calf injury. Captain Will Miles was taken to Guildford Hospital after dislocating his knee during the match. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Despite the goalless scoreline, it was an end to end affair, with both sides having clear chances on goal. Adelakun was on hand to clear the ball off the line and James Shaw was called into action multiple times to keep out the Kingstonian attack.

At the other end, Adelakun and Brivio saw efforts whistle just passed the goal frame.

Hill now look to Saturday’s home fixture to Folkestone Invicta, kick-off 3 pm.
